well the holidays are here and i am pretty much too cold to celebrate it to the max tonight.....you all must be laughing at me because its not even cold enough to leave the slightest bit of frost on the windows but not many australians have central heating or anything like that .....unfortunately

 down south in  new south wales there have been horrible disasters like crazy flooding and mini cyclones.....we aussies aren't used to this kind of thing and so it took many by surprise considering we're in a terrible drought.  farmers especially suffered what with the destruction of their crops and stock and all, setting them back thousands of dollars.  one town was so isolated that no one could get in or out unless by helicoptor but the funny thing is is that even during such a hard time, every one got together and started to have BBQ's and parties.....in the middle of a flood!.....i reckon they're absolute legends!  but please pray for those who are trying to get back up on their feet again and their families.

i am freezing....i seriously can't feel my fingers.  last night mum and i went out to get some KFC for tea....it was so cold that i had to put on two jackets and two pairs of pants. brrrrrrrr. it's aminly the freezing winds though form new south wales......this is the coldest winter that we've had for a while....well at least from what i can remember

hey all!

sorry you all had to put up with Charlie for the past few weeks.......REALLY sorry!   i have been sooooo busy!  at the moment i have two essays, an oral and a power point presentations to do before Monday!.....AAAAAAARRRRRRRGH!...........please pray that i get it all done in time.

tonight is the state of origin!!!!........GO MAROONS!.......GO THE CANE TOADS!!!........GO QUEENSLANDER!!!!!!!.........YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for those who don't know what the state of origin is....you poor things....it is two (or three if a tie-breaker is necessary) big...no....HUGE games of NRL football and the competition is between queensland (maroons/cane toads) and new south wales (blues/ cockroaches).....only the best players in the whole of each state gets to play.....and the prize is the grand title of WINNER OF THE STATE OF ORIGIN and of course bragging rights for the next year...........awesome huh?!?!   now because i am a queenslander born and bred, i barrick for the maroons (who win quite alot including last year) hense the very loud typing above....

i also went on year 11 leadership camp.... i'll show photoes hopefully in the next post!

well i better get a start on those essays!
